Americano

Numbingly, scrolling despondent on my luminous rectangle. ‘Oh Yes’ I still have 2 hours to sleep in! What day is it actually? It’s Monday which means a new discover weekly playlist on Spotify. Songs I didn't know or did I?

With one eye open and my noise canceling headset I hope to get a shot of dopamine from the next best thing. Isolated and not knowing what I'm looking for, from memes that turn my mental health into the best comedy shows to the most impossible vocal riffs and recipes that I'm never going to make anyway. Lost in a world of algorithmic organized chaos where I find redemption in a collection of quotes and motivational speeches that I'm not willing to share. My so-called safespace where I maintain my digital connections better than my tangible social contacts. The sense of time and numbness of reality has become the reality of my digital world. A cocooned social butterfly curled up in her winter-duvet-bedburrito only awakens after her first americano. As the alarm goes off I noticed that I really need a nap.

Dr. Martens

Let me tell you about the time I bought my first pair of Dr. Martens boots

It felt like a great investment even though it’s “just” a shoe... That’s what you might think, but for me it was an extension of my slightly rebellious personality and standing for something in this society. I finally broke free from certain conservative standards when I owned my first pair of Dr. Martens. I felt like a true badass! For me as a creative, as an artist, it was always ideal to have a great piece of wearable art in combination with practical uses. That for me is the Dr. Martens boot design. The signature yellow stitches made you stand out if you were a boot-lover. I always loved the message that this brand stands for: Standing out!

A Coat

I looked over all that I wrote down yesterday and I find that my descriptions are not sufficiently clear.

That is, everything would undoubtedly be clear to one of us but who knows to whom my Integral will some day bring these records? Perhaps you, like our ancestors, have read the great book of civilization only up to the page of nine hundred years ago.

Epilepsy

The auditorium: an enormous half-globe of glass with the sun piercing through.

The circular rows of noble, globe-like, closely-shaven heads. With joy in my heart I looked around. I believe I was looking in the hope of seeing the rose-colored scythe, the dear lips of O-, somewhere among the blue waves of the unifs. Then I saw extraordinarily white, sharp teeth like the.... But no!
